Day 1The adventure begins - arrival in Albania

Welcome to Albania! After the arrival, in a couple of hours you will reach the city of Prizren, in Kosovo, where you will stop for dinner and sleep.

Day 2Beginning of the trekking tour, from Decan to Doberdoll

After breakfast, you will arrive in Decan, where you will have the chance to see the famous monastery. From here, start hiking to the Albanian border and the Doberdoll Plain. During the walk you will have a packed lunch, and in the afternoon, once you arrive at your destination, you will sleep in a shelter.

Day 3The Village of Cerem

The day starts in an active way: everyone will have to prepare breakfast and a packed lunch, before leaving for the village of Cerem, where you can relax and enjoy a traditional dinner. The distance travelled is at least 15 km, and the high ground is always around 2000 meters.

Day 4Climbing the Rosi peaks

After breakfast there will be time to pack up some lunch, that you will eat along the way. The point of arrival of the day is the village of Valbona, from which several hiking trails begin. On the way, there is a climb near the Rosi peaks, at almost 200 meters, before going down to the valley.

Day 5The pass between Valbona and Theth, one of the most spectacular places on the itinerary

This day is certainly one of the most thrilling of the tour, because you will cross the pass between Valbona and Theth, a classic! Special mention for the village of Theth, a real gem in the area. In the morning the routine is always the same, breakfast and preparation of the packed lunch, early departure and walk to Theth, where there is a traditional dinner in the guesthouse, before the night.

Day 6Challenging day to reach Montenegro

This day will be the most challenging and stimulating of the tour! After breakfast, you will leave for the Peja Pass, and after a climb you will go downhill towards the town of Plav, in Montenegro. In Plav dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7Trekking in the Prokletije

In the day you will return to the land of the “threatening mountains”, the Prokletije, a mountain group of the Dinaric Alps. First stop at the village of Lepushe, where a local van will transfer the adventurers to Gerbaje, where the trek of the day will begin, which will end with the return to Lepushe. Here there is a traditional dinner and overnight stay in a guesthouse.

Day 8To the heart of Albania

Today we will walk among some of the oldest cities of Albania, the cradle of the culture of these people and this nation. The main stop is the village of Vermoush, which we will reach after having a packed lunch. From here, a van will take travelers to Shkodra.

Day 9Discovering Tirana

The last day of trekking is quite relaxing, after this busy week. We will visit Tirana, a city that, far from the threatening mountains, has become vibrant and very lively, where the old meets the new. Upon arrival, lunch at the restaurant; to follow, visit the old bazaar and the most important parts of the capital. Dinner at the restaurant and overnight at the hotel.
