Come to the North of Brazil to discover the protected area of the Roraima natural park, on the border with Venezuela and Guyana, surrounded by the mountain peaks. The imposing presence of Mount Roraima, to act as a protagonist among the luxuriant nature, makes the area even more attractive, which has a lot to offer in terms of landscape, thanks to waterfalls, rivers, lakes, and cliffs. Meeting of participants at Boa Vista airport and from there transfer by bus / shuttle to the city of Santa Elena de Uairén (Venezuela), with a journey of about 3 hours. Arrived in Santa Elena, meeting with the trekking guides. Short briefing about the route and then accommodation in a hostel for overnight.
After breakfast, you will leave the town of Santa Elena de Uairén in the direction of Paratepuy. Transfer in 4×4. Once there, trekking to the Tek river begins, where you will spend the night in a tent. Throughout the route, there will be the opportunity to admire the peaks of the Roraima and Kukenan mountains.

On the third day, after a hearty breakfast, you will leave the Tek river campsite at the base of Mount Roraima for the base camp. On the way, you will cross the Kukenan River, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. You will walk for about 6 hours on a fairly demanding trek. Accommodation in a tent and dinner.

This is the most awaited day given the climb to Mount Roraima. During the trekking, you will be able to observe the particular Valley of tears, with its molten stones. During the trekking, you will enjoy a privileged view on the savannah of Venezuela. Accommodation in a tent for the night.

The day will be dedicated to exploring the area around the mountain. After breakfast, you will head to the Brazilian border, more particularly towards Quati. For the day there will be a trek of about 5h. You will cross the area of ”El Foso” and you will see the spectacular stone sculptures, results of years of erosion.

After breakfast, the whole day will be dedicated to getting to know the surroundings better. From the base camp you will move towards the Cotinga river. Here, after some time to relax, you will proceed to Lake Gladys and go up to Mount Roraima to enjoy the view from above.

Another day to explore the peaks of Mount Roraima. Trekking and excursions to visit the best attractions and look for the most beautiful views of the valley. Overnight in a tent.

Relaxation day: visit to the beautiful natural pools, to the crystal valley, and to Ventana, one of the main attractions of the area. Preparation of the base camp for the night and dinner.

The adventure is not over yet. The descent back to Tek River, 14 km long, will begin. Break at the base camp for a light lunch before proceeding to the new destination.

The adventure is coming to an end. After breakfast, we will return to the village of Paraytepuy. On the way back, the forest guards will check the backpacks, as it is forbidden to take anything away from the mountain. Pack up and get comfy on the 4×4 jeep. Lunch break in the village of San Francisco. Arrived in Santa Elena, overnight at the hotel celebrating at the best the end of the trek.

It’s time to say goodbye. After breakfast, transfer of participants from the hotel to Boa Vista airport. Here the adventure in the remote world of Roraima will end.
