Arrival at Hanoi airport, transfer to the city. Hanoi, or the “River-bound City”, is Vietnam’s capital with a thousand-year-old history dating back to 1010. The city’s fascinating beauty which is characterized by unique cultural relics, ancient streets of antique houses, elegant French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and romantic lakes that made it into one of the most charming cities of Asia. The tour guides will pick you up at the hotel after breakfast by bus / shuttle, heading to the city of Hoa Binh, where you will stop for refreshments and visit the Hoa Binh hydroelectric station built in the 80s. Leaving Hoa Binh, continue by bus to the Mai Chau valley. This area is home to many mountain tribes including Muong and Thai ethnic minorities. Enjoying the hospitality of these people, you will discover a little more about their lives and cultures during lunch. Arrive at Mai Chau around 12:15.
Free time at the end of the tour. Dinner around 6:30 pm with set menu. Possibility to see the traditional Thai dance
in the stilt houses. Overnight at Mai Chau in stilt house.
After breakfast bike ride around the village. Around noon, departure from Mai Chau to Pu Luong to enjoy the extraordinary view of the mountains and rice fields. In the afternoon arrival in the Pu Luong Nature Reserve, from here start a 2-3 hour trek through beautiful hilltop villages and magnificent rice fields. The highlight of this walk is the beauty of the Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Here you will be welcomed as guests in a traditional Thai house on stilts. Traditional dinner and overnight.
At 8 am the trek begins from the Thai village, about 5-6 hours long. The first trekking is characterized by climbs and streams, the second is panoramic with beautiful views of the valley. Packed lunch at the village of Eo Ken. Arrival in the village of Kho Muong
in the afternoon. Overnight in a typical Thai house/stilts.
After breakfast, an easy trek will make you start the day. Continue through the valley. Take a break before continuing in a village nestled in the mountains. Arrival in a small town and visit the Pho Doan market after 3-4 hours of trekking. Short break for lunch at a local stall in the city. From here transfer by bus / shuttle to Canh Nang and back to Hanoi. Overnight at Hotel in Hanoi.
After breakfast, free time around the city. Transfer to the airport via bus/shuttle.
