Kitesurf Camp in Neretva – Croatia

With its natural beauty, warm climate, gastronomic excellence and wide supply of activities, Croatia is considered to be the jewel of the Mediterranean. The country is situated in South-Eastern Europe at the crossroads of the Adriatic Sea and the Pannonian Plain. Croatia is bordering Slovenia in the west, Hungary in the north, Serbia in the east and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the south; the country also has a long maritime border with Italy from the Adriatic Sea. The coastal climate is characterized by its winds. The westerly “Maestral” is a pleasant summer wind that blows in from the sea (reaching its peak force in the early afternoon) and that refreshes the air. This gives kiters incredible kiting conditions nearly every day during the season from June to September.

Wake up to a lovely breakfast with a selection of fresh juices, coffee, tea, yogurt, fruits, ham, cheese and different types of bread. The wind normally kicks in between 12-3 pm, so you have time to enjoy the morning, the food and the view. The early birds have the option to play tennis at the “grape house” or go to the gym before breakfast. Our vans will take you along the river to the kite spot, 10-15 minutes away. Together with the other kiters you will be motivated to try out new things before the return to the camp when the sun goes down (around 7:00). A delicious dinner and wine will be served at 9:00 for 18 euros, including dessert.

Changes in the itinerary may incur. Organizers may modify the tour accordingly to weather conditions to ensure the safety of participants.

We have two houses in the small village Komin, both of them viewing over the beautiful river of Neretva. The kite spot is just ten minutes away by boat or by car. In Komin, everything is within walking distance: A cozy cafeteria, football field, supermarket and running tracks with fig- and apple trees. Kiwi house and Lemon house are 50 meters away from each other, and each house has three bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, living room, kitchen and a balcony. One of our neighbors has a tennis field in his garden, and you are welcome to play in the mornings and the evenings for a small fee.

There are shared bathrooms, kitchen and a living room in both houses, wifi, Air Condition, a cozy garden in the Lemon house and an outside area in the Kiwi house.
